DONALD LEE MORROW
Donald Lee Morrow passed away March 4, 2019, at home in Malin, Oregon, age 87. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa, on January 2, 1932, to Gilbert Fay Morrow and Ethelwyn Kleese. Don married Inez Carrolle Hesseltine on June 18, 1952, in Canton, Missouri. They were married 66 years and raised 4 children Carol (Harry) Haywood of Eldora, Iowa; Dean (Clarinda) Morrow of Malin, Oregon; Guy (Barbara) Morrow of Bonanza, Oregon; and Terri (Peter Van) Johnson of Malin, Oregon. They have 9 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Don was a Korean War veteran. After his Army tour of duty, he moved to Oregon and started Morrow Trucking Company. Don was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Don is survived by his wife, Inez; children and grandchildren; one sister, Lola Sinn of Wayland, Iowa; 3 brothers, Melvin "Bo" (Eloise) of West Virginia; James Richard "Dick" (Frances) Morrow and Larry (Evelyn) Morrow-both of Wayland, Iowa and brother-in-law Rex Manning of Bonaparte, Iowa.
Don was preceded in death by sisters, Jean (Jim) Blessing and Mattie Louise Manning; brothers, Royal Dean "Skip" Morrow and Rodney "Doc" (Agnes) Morrow; and his parents. A celebration of life will be held later.
