A caller Thursday morning in Old White Way in Ainsworth reported a male subject she had a no-contact order with was in her closet when she woke up. He left running eastbound on Old White Way and got into a beige Honda Pilot. A Washington County officer responded. An Iowa State Patrol officer located the vehicle license HGS550 and the driver on Highway 92. An additional officer also responded. Iowa State Patrol arrested Milton Sylvester Jones, 32, of Washington, for driving while revoked. Tow arrangements were made with State Patrol. Moore’s responded. A Washington County officer arrested Jones for violation of a no-contact order and trespass.

A caller Thursday morning in Lexington Boulevard in Washington reported meeting a subject for an appointment, and the subject was wanted out of Washington County. Cheyanne Eva Elizabeth Schalk, 20, of Fort Madison, was arrested on a Washington County warrant for possession of controlled substance marijuana second offense with bond at $1,000 cash only. A Washington County officer served the warrant. The warrant was cleared from the system.

A caller Thursday afternoon in East Madison Street in Washington reported a house on the corner south of the middle school, with loud music playing on speakers outside. An officer responded and spoke with the subject and advised him of the complaint. At 4:07 p.m., about an hour later, Dispatch received a call that the music was turned up again. Two officers responded. Aaron Ray Jellison, 25, of Washington, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

A caller Thursday night in East Second Street in Washington reported that his neighbor pulled up behind his wife’s vehicle and was honking her horn, yelling and screaming. He called back to advise that the female was now banging on their door, yelling, and trying to get into the house. Two officers responded. Connie Sue Sedlacek, 58, of Washington, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was advised that she was not to be on the property and would be arrested for trespass if she returned.

Traffic accident

A caller Thursday afternoon on Highway 1 in Washington reported backing into a vehicle in the parking lot. There were no injuries. An officer responded. License GYU394 operated by Rebecca Vittetoe, of Washington, vs. License JP147 operated by Bennett Vance, of Washington. The accident occurred on private property. Information was exchanged between drivers. Damages were under $1,500.

Traffic stop serious

An officer reported being at a vehicle stop with license GST066, Thursday night at East Polk Street and South Third Avenue in Washington. The officer issued a citation to the juvenile operator for driving while revoked.

Traffic other

A caller Thursday night in North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported that a neighbor kept revving his truck when he drove by. An officer responded and spoke to both parties. The subject was advised not to do this anymore. He said it was someone leaving the bar. Documentation was made.

Disabled vehicles

An officer reported being out with a disabled semitrailer, Thursday afternoon at Highway 218 and Old White Way in Crawfordsville. The vehicle was added to Mach.

A caller Thursday afternoon on Highway 22 in Wellman reported a dark gray minivan along the roadway with the hazard lights on. An officer responded. They had help there to provide them a ride. The officer added the vehicle to Mach.

Fire calls

A caller Thursday afternoon at Highway 78 in Brighton reported a subject burning bags and the fire had gotten out of control and was starting to go into the field. Brighton Fire responded and extinguished the fire.

Animal complaint

A caller Thursday afternoon in Poplar Boulevard in Riverside reported an ongoing issue with the neighbor’s pitbull coming into her yard. An officer left a voice mail for the dog owners to call back in.

A caller Friday morning on Highway 22 in Kalona reported that there were approximately 10 cattle out that were in the road. They had then crossed to the south side. An officer responded and made contact with the owners. They lost sight of the cattle and would call back when they located them. The owners called back later to advise that they got them all back into the fenced-in area.

A call was reported received from a subject who said he hit a deer and did not stop, Friday morning at Highway 218 and 170th Street in Riverside. The caller believed the deer was still in the roadway on Highway 218 near Mile Marker 76, northbound lanes. An officer responded and was unable to locate the deer in the roadway.

Assault

A caller Thursday afternoon in West Washington Street in Washington reported six or seven juveniles outside fighting. An officer responded. A report will be filed.

A caller Thursday evening in Parkside Estates Road in Washington reported an assault that occurred involving juveniles. An officer spoke with all parties and their parents, and advised that all juveniles involved were at fault and no charges would be filed. Documentation was made.

Barking dog

A caller Thursday afternoon in South Fourth Avenue in Washington reported that there was a barking dog across the street. An officer responded and checked the area and was unable to locate any dogs barking.

Family offense nonviolent

A caller Thursday morning in South Third Avenue in Washington reported that a 22-year-old male was hanging out with his 16-year-old daughter. He was also staying at his house while he had been in jail. An officer spoke to the caller, who was given his options. Documentation was made.

A caller Thursday afternoon in West Adams Street in Washington reported that her granddaughter was out of control. An officer responded and transported the juvenile to Four Oaks.

Runaways/missing person

A caller early Friday morning in South Second Avenue in Washington reported that her sister said she would be home shortly after 9 p.m. that night, and had not returned home. The last known location was on the square. An officer responded. He was unable to locate her on the square, but spoke with the reporting party who advised she had since heard from her sister and she was staying at a friend’s house.

Suspicious activity

A caller Thursday morning at East Second Street and North Ella Street in Riverside reported a suspicious gold Chevrolet Malibu in the area. An officer responded and checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.

A caller Friday morning in South Avenue B in Washington reported suspicious activity. Two officers responded and checked the residence, and spoke to the subjects who lived there. Everything appeared to be fine.

Welfare check

A caller Friday morning in North Fifth Avenue in Washington requested a welfare check on a male with a possible medical issue. Officers responded and spoke with the subject, who was fine and refused medical transport.

All other theft

A caller Thursday evening in Fifth Street in Wellman reported that a subject was inside her garage taking things. An officer responded, and the subject left prior to the officer’s arrival. The officer did a civil standby for the subject. Documentation was made.

All other offenses

A caller Thursday night in East Second Street in Washington reported speaking to a subject at the Police Department in reference to harassment from the neighbor. An officer spoke to the caller, who would just like documentation.
