FAIRFIELD - The middle school girls track teams ran Tuesday with the seventh grade placing third at 81 points and the eighth grade was second at 135 points.
Alex Murphy won the shot put at 27 feet, 1 inch while Makenna Conrad won the long jump at 15-3 and the 400 meters in 1 minute, 6.89 seconds. Grace Voss was first in the 800 in 2:57.1.
The 4x800 meter relay was first in 12 minutes, 0.11 seconds with Anna Collett, Kaylin Long, Alecia Goff and Voss. Gracey Simmering, Emilie Burciga, Molly Klinzman and Conrad won the sprint medley with a time of 2:09.1.
Voss was second in the high jump at 4-4.
Ally Rees was third in the discus at 68-2 and Goff’s long jump of 13-8 was third. Neveah Brown’s 14.92 was third in the 100. Goff took third in the 200 in 31.48. Long’s time of 3:01.56 was third in the 800.
Simmering, Brown, Makayla Garrelts and Murphy placed third in the 4x2 in 2:09.15. The 4x4 of Voss, Conrad, Long and Goff placed third at 5:05.61.
Seventh grade winners were the 4x1 relay with Taylor Bartholomew, Kourtney Moeller, Audrey Anderson and Abby Kleese in a time of 58.91 and the 4x4 in 4:56.61 with Anderson, Bartholomew, Moeller and Remy Messinger.
Second place finishers were Rylee Libe’s dicus toss of 55-3, Anderson’s long jump of 14-2 and the shuttle hurdle time of 1:24.25 with Giselle Marcelino, Messinger, Bartholomew and Anderson.
Bartholomew was third in the long jump at 14-2 and Maci Williams’ shot put of 19-11 was third.
